April 22,2011.The outlook for 2011 is good. Although snowpack is below normal and run off from snow melt is lower than usual, the fishing has been very good on the Red River and the Cimarron and should continue to be that way through May and June. In July the Valle Vidal will open and since that is a tail water the fishing there will be good at least through August and early September.
